I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC). I have been in the behavioral health field since 2013 in various roles including: skill-building, palliative care and educator on domestic/sexual violence. Since 2016, I have been working as an addiction and mental health counselor in Western New York. I work with patients on gaining autonomy from intrusive thoughts, addiction or interpersonal issues. My goal is to teach patients to control their thoughts and emotions, while promoting self-compassion and self-confidence. My practice also focuses on family/support work and involvement, in order to promote healthy change and support systemically.
